Watch a Pointilist Artwork Form from Over 3 Million Ink Dots

The making of “Hero” shows the process of artist Miguel Endara drawing a picture of his dad – composed entirely out of 3.2 million ink dots. According to the artist, the total number of dots were determined “by multiplying the average stippling speed of a piece (4.25 dots per second) by the amount of time logged in.”
